Do the ejectors on a MX8 have to be fitted?

When I fire a shell on the bottom barrel, the rim of the shell is hard to remove sometimes.

When I put a shell in that barrel, I think it has too much "wiggle room" which is causing it to be hard to extract after firing.

Will new ejectors alleviate this problem and do they have to be "professionally fit" (by a gunsmith) to work correctly?

    Thanks!

I broke the bottom extractor on my MX-8 & bought a new one from Whiz White. It did not need fitting by a gunsmith. I installed it myself & it has worked fine. Not sure what you mean by too much wiggle room. Unless the the springs have been shortened or deactivated, the spent shells should be ejected into your hand. If you put this on Related Topics, you'll probably get plenty of help. John
