The goal is to have a 2 barrel set --

Current config is 30" barrel with 18.7 bore--

Will a 18.4 barrel fit without a trip to the gunsmith

Also will it require new foreend wood because of the different bore size or are the external measurements the same

    Thanks

Bore size makes no difference, but bbl may or may not fit. Forend would be the same if both type 4 lugs.

Even if the barrel fit perfectly there are other issues that will need to be addressed, IMHOP you will need the services of a good Perazzi man, first class gun deserves a first class set up. Break em all and good luck.

1 in 20 barrels are a drop on... you normally need to adjust or change locking bolt.. adjust catch bolt.. most 18.4 barrels will fit in a 18.7 forend wood..
