Recently started shooting a MX3 Special and would like to shoot the top single barrel with a release trigger. Does the Special take the same trigger as an MX8 or does it have it's own? Will any release trigger have to be fitted to the gun or will it fit automatically.

    thanks
    Bob

same trigger, you should have hte fitting checked before you shoot it.

Don and Bob. Usually (USUALLY) MX triggers that are true "Special-P4" will go into any MX gun from the CNC machining era beginning about '88. Rarely do they have to be filed on to fit. If it does seem to need adjusting it may be that the stock bolt is too tight. But I agree, you do see one occasionally that does not slip in and go click as it is popped in place.

If the top first trigger you have is an earlier trigger, it prob will still work.
