Can anyone enlighten me on the differences between the MX-8 series of guns, such as an MX-8 and an MX-8B? What is special about an MX-8 Special?

Thanks for info. Are there any other variations? As to the Special, how is it adjustable? By weight? By LOP?

MX-8 is the standard of all current production Perazzi O/Us.

MX-8B was a promotional model from the second half of the '80s. It came with flat rib 29.5" barrel, bottom chokes, top fixed F. It's detachable trigger has coil springs.

MX-8 Special is a MX-8 with P4 adjustable trigger. Mostly in trap configuration.

At one time, Perazzi made MX-8C as MX-8 with choke tubes, later drop the "C" as all choke tubes are optional.

All Perazzi "Specials" are CNC machined and remain CNC machined there after, even if not called "special" any longer. Before the "Specials," monoblocs and receivers were manually machined.
