Guy's this is a great deal on a gun of this quality. The wood blank on this gun would cost in the area of $1500.00, before shapping etc. Wiz White had basiclly the same gun on her a couple month ago for $9500.00 with just a plain Perazzi stock. Will condider a reasonable offer. Thanks Jim

Euro Joe if you re-read the Post I state the numbers match on the gun, but the barrels are sequencial numbered. In other words the # on the barrels don't match to the rest of the gun but the rest of the # Eg. receiver, trigger forend iron do match. Sorry for the comfusion. Thanks Jim

Jim. I would not phrase it as confused, rather that the term "All numbers match" has a speicfic meaning. And most of us think the bbl numbers would match the recvr-iron-trigger etc. "All" means all.

To anyone considering this gun. I just bought the MX-3 Special Jim had on another post. Guys,(and gals), this gun will be every bit as nice, or nicer, than Jim says it will. The MX-3 Special I bought is excellent in every way! I wouldn't hesitate to buy from Jim again in a heartbeat.. Excellent gun, excellent price, and, more importantly, excellent value....... Thanks Jim... Dan Thome (Trap2)

This is a steller gun at a very fair price. Look at the wood. You would be hard pressed to replace the wood for $1500.00 before shapping, checkering and finish. Fresh checkering, Wilkerson barrel work etc. Thanks Jim

To quote my Italian Perazzi gun parts supplier with regard to "matching numbers:" Marcello says we American are way too concerned about the numbers.

In Italy they could care less. We Americans do this to adjust a gun's value.

I for one, am in line with Marcello's thinking.

    IMHO.

Oh, nice gun and nicer price.

In about 10 minutes Dan @ G's can change the numbers. I have an MX 15 with extra MX 10 O/U & MX 2000 Unsingle barrels and ALL numbers match.

EB thanks for the post. I am well aware of that fact but was trying to be upfront about it. If you ordered a factory unsingle this is what you would get. Like Wiz said it all in the mind of person buying the gun. Thanks for your help. Jim
