Could someone please explain what the differences are between these two Perazzi shotguns. Are they both good quality guns? Are they priced about the same?

2000S is a nonremovable trigger gun.

Hitapair answered your question, MX-2000S is a non-removable trigger gun, with coil springs and standard barrel selector on safety lever. Same MSRP as MX-2000. They are as good as any Perazzis, and prettier than some.

MX-14 is still a current production model. In American trap combo.

The MX2000 = MX8 with engraving, the MX2000S = MX12 with engraving. As previously stated, the MX2000S is a fixed trigger gun, the MX2000 is a drop-out trigger gun. The MX2000S has a narrower receiver and generally weights a little less than the MX2000. The barrels & forearm medal are the same, the stocks are NOT interchangeable.
