In the past couple of years that I've been in this sport, I have noticed that with many top shooters, their gun fires and the barrel has no or very little vertical movement. Is this due to custom stocks, or does changing the pitch effect this. I really see this to be true when I watch videos on international doubles trap. Is there some secret that only the top shooters know in setting up their guns. Barry

In international double trap they are using 7/8 oz of shot. less recoil, less muzzle jump. Bottom barrel ported, less muzzle jump. HMB

Port and pitch. Lower barrel-vs-top barrel, lighter loads, all make a difference.
