With 600 dead already the Brotherhood is calling for a "Day Of Rage" today.

Obama is distancing himself and avoiding the coup d'état label, since it will mean the cessation of military and financial aid to his pals.

Sounds like a turkey shoot to me. Protesters against tanks is usually predictable.

They had probably passed laws to take the citizens guns from them beforehand, so this massacre would be that much easier to accomplish! Then of course all the extremists could take advantage of the situation.

Isn't the "Brotherhood" made up of extremist muslims whom we have been fighting against? Morsi was elected in but favored the extremist after he was in office.

Wouldn't this be considered a win win situation for us?

I think that in that part of the world, no matter what we do, we're going to end up with a lot of problems, more than we already have. It's too bad we can't just pull out of that whole area, and be done with it. Of course, it's not that simple.

More oil drilling and gas fracking would let us pull out of the whole region. Yes it is that simple. The only downside would be Israel would be surrounded.

We can protect Israel as long as we have jets in Turkey.

But I think we need new leaders before that can happen. The Muslim in Chief would waffle till there were many dead Israelis.

    Just history repeating itself.

Took us a long time in the start of WWII how deal with the Japanese fighters. At a great cost of OUR troops.

Same type of Ideology "drives" the Islam extremist.

Actions speak louder then words. Obo and crew backed the wrong Muslim and they knew it. Its part of that "hope and change" they've been promising.

I hope and pray that Obama stays on vacation until the Egyptians sort out theur meass. They certainly don't need input from him or Kerrey or Hagel. The Egyptian remember Anwar Sadat, the best President since the fall of Farouk. They remember what the Muslim Brotherhood did to him. That's all they need to know. They will outlaw the Brotherhood and the country will slowly recover.
