I know it's out of season and we had little or no snow, but thats when you find the deals. Does anyone know about the quality of a Murray Snow Thrower, 24" with a B&S 6 H.P. Engine. Seems like it's made pretty solid in U.S. Sears services and also sells them. Found one at a super price.(would perfer an Ariens or Toro but for at least 1/2 the price I can buy some Ammo). Feed back appreciated. Thanks Jeff.

I bought a used one in 1998. It's moved a lot of snow and is finally starting to show it's age. I think they are decent. I'm guessing the 24 in comes with a 5HP motor. I think it's a little under powered. An 8 would be better.

Tom, thanks for the reply. FYI the engine is 205cc-approx. 6 HP. Jeff

A Toro or Ariens at twice the price will be less expensive in the long run.

TC, I was thinking the same thing, you usually get what you pay for. That why I posted this. Sometimes you can luck out on a clearance but need to do a little Homework. Thanks Jeff
