Has anybody had any dealings with Multi-Scale, the company who makes the MEC powder baffles. We ordered some direct because we couldn't find any from listed distributors. They have a New York address, but charged us a currency exchange upcharge because they also have a canadian address. RIPOFF......
    BE CAREFUL.

Not a ripoff, they are located in Canada and have a mailing address just across the border in USA.

Can't be much as Canadian dollar is only a few percent(5-6%) under the US dollar. I purchased some of their product a few years ago when the US dollar was lower and they changed the purchase with the exchange rate. Good product and decent people.

I know how you feel , I ordered a Multi-Scale universal charge Bar from
Mid-Way for only $35.99 and was asked by the person taking the order if
that was all I needed . I said yes at this time ,for it was the first time
ordering from them .He then asked if I would like one of thier catalogs .
I told him sure and the phone order was complete .I got my charge bar but ,
the shipping was almost $13.00 Bucks .The idem ordered was 1/2 lb. and the
catalog was 2 1/2 lbs .I will remember that the next time I need something .

    P-Duckman,

You got away cheap at $13 for 3 lbs. I just sent a 6oz package from Florida to Connecticut via UPS ground and it was $10.40. Shipping costs have gone up.
