This Saturday, December 17th, the Minneapolis Gun Club will holding our weekly Jackpot Trapshoot and serving FREE Ham sandwich lunch in appreciation to the great bunch of shooters that have supported us this Jackpot season.

The FREE lunch will be in addition to the generous Lewis Class payouts AND the $100.00 bonus for a 50 straight.

Rumor is Big Dan Ward will be holding a shooting exhibition with his NEW gun and showing the rest of us "how to do it".

The shooting starts at 10:00 AM and we'll be serving lunch around noon. The weather looks to be sunny and close to 30 degrees so.....

C'mon out, enjoy the day and bust some clays.©

    Hope to see you there.

You mean "Big Dog Dan"... Right? He is the only guy I know that can talk about his new gun and shooting for the entire purple bag hour and remain humble. But flyboy is still the king of the hill. It matters not to him if he dons his P-gun or his B-gun.

    See you there.

Wish I could be there for the ham. Jimmy Bowen and company cook great food. I'll miss it for sure but then spending the day in Florida with the family will be good too! It's 67 degrees at 10pm here, 50 minutes north of the Silver Dollar, eat your hearts out MN jackpotters.

Are you going to start another jackpot season after the 1st??

If so and if I fly into the Minneapolis airport will you pick me up at the airport, provide me a room, feed me at Famous Dave's and generally treat me like a visiting dignitary. Nothing fancy just a small parade and some quality time with hot lips before the jackpot starts. Also guarantee that the sheep chaser (other wise know as THE PREZ) will be in attendance for one big a$$ whoop'n.

PK80......YOU ARE ON!!! You're welcome at the house anytime and Famous Dave's is just up the hill. As far as the Prez being there I've heard stories that he gets "way laid" someplace in Missouri on his way home. Makes Big Dog Dan pretty mad.

This will be easy. Hot Lips owes me one anyway. She forgot the whipped cream at the last party. Luckily, I had some with and everybody enjoyed dessert. :>)

Prez, you gone already????? Pretty soon you're going to known as a Floridian rather than a Minnesotian. With you gone who's going to represent Krieghoff at the Jackpot shoots? There isn't anybody else up here that shoots one of those things.

Zardoz, if you want "quality" time with Hot Lips you better be prepared to spend it with Sweet Cheeks too. He might be old and losing his eyesight but he's a scrappy old phart. They're both good people to be around.

30 degrees on Saturday....$100.00 bonus for a 50 straight....Lewis class cash payouts....and FREE LUNCH...its the best deal in town.

    Hope to see you there.

Well guys, mid 70's today. No wind, no clouds, no Jimmy's. Just perfect here at the Silver Dollar. Shoot well and oh, Hot Lips has way to much class for you pretenders.

Last weekend when the Prez was out at the club I learned he had acquired some property down in FL...........it turns out he parks his rig at the Dollar during the day.......but moves over to the "Villages" after dark! And let's just say that he stays very active under the "full moon". Think X rated version of the movie Cocoon and you'll pretty much have it nailed!

I wondered why he wasn't shooting last weekend. But as I did notice that he was eating what looked like blue triangle shaped M&Ms all afternoon, I now realize that he was getting ready for what "lay" ahead of him down south.

So the next time you guys down at the Dollar see the old Prez drag himself out to the line in the morning looking like he'd been beaten by an 85 year old with a cane all night...........well take it easy on the old fart, because that's probably what happened!

See you all Saturday - Big Dan

Oh you guys, all you really want me for is my cookies. You want my macaroons with a kiss. Now, here they are, out in the public for all to see. The light colored smooth creamy macaroon with tips of chocolate.

If you want to hold one in your hands, be gentle. Lift them gently to your mouth and start with the kiss. Use your tongue to savor the pointy little kiss in the middle and then wrap your lips around the entire macroon for your eating pleasure.

Usually I only let Jerry's mouth touch my macaroons. However, this Saturday, with Jerry's permission, my macaroons can be fondeled and enjoyed by everyone at Minneapolis Gun Club!

Hot Lips.....now you gone and done it!!! With you showing off your stuff we'll need a lot more ham for people that are gonna show up to fondle and taste your macaroons.

Nothing better than a woman who lets you know how she wants her pride and joy to be handled. Nice cookies C E.

Jerry's a lucky man...but then a lot of us have known that for a long time.

There you have it.....C'mon out and have a taste of the Trapshooting Diva's macaroons. Only at MGC.

Hope to see you there. I can hardly wait.

WOW!!!!!!!!!!! I got up early this AM and read CEs post displaying and describing her macaroons. I honestly tried typing a cute response.......but my fingers were trembling as I sat frozen and wide eyed........drooling all over my keyboard........just staring at those macaroons!!!

How the heck is a guy suppose to focus on a target when all he can think about is getting one of CEs macaroons??? Given that Jerry will be able to get at those macaroons early, I really think he should have to shoot all 50 from yardage to make things fair!!!!!

Great post Cheryl!!!!!!!!!! If this doesn't trip a guys trigger to get out to the Jackpot I don't know what will!!

Big Drooling Dan, as nice as the picture of Cheryl's macaroons is, you should have been there last spring when at the the Jackpot Finale We held a Tan Line Contest for those that had gone to the Southwestern Grand in San Antonio. Needless to say, Hot Lips won that one hands down. I have pictures but can't post 'em here. I'll take the framed picture down from the wall and bring it with tomorrow.

    Start time 10:00 AM.

Lunch will be ready at 12:00 PM.

It will be a beautiful day to be out shooting.

    Hope to see you there.

Hopefully they're in church praying for us.

Yaaaa Baby, Prez.........how's the weather today????

We're basking in moderate temps with a forecast of sunshine and glow in the daylight targets. I highly doubt they'll make it to the 50 yard stake tomorrow.

We miss you already....when you coming home?????

Might not be back until May. Got to go to Tucson for the last half of the daughters Olympic Trap Shooting trials.

"Gosh, I wonder what the Minnesota purists think about these posts."

As actively involved as we all know you are with that group, I'm a bit surprised you asked Prez??

Flying down to Fort Myers tonight for a couple weeks down on Marco.

And wish Kelsey good luck from back home.......although I'm not sure she needs it!!
