We'll keep our fingers crossed for Aaron and hope he heals quick too! It's amazing what can be done today compared to a few short years back!! He's young and tough enough to heal quick and we wish him all our best!

It was an honor to compete with him for the Kern Co winter chain buckle, of course loosing by 2 targets. I pray for a successful surgery and a speedy recovery.

Wow !!! I just now saw this post. Thanks Jeff for the post. Your brother is so young for this type of surgery. His age will help him with his recovery I'm sure.

I wish him and your parents the best. The modern surgery is so good, I'm sure in no time he will be back as strong as ever. Tell him hi for me. I'll say a prayer tonight for him as I go to bed.

Please keep us posted about his recovery.

    Your long time friend ---

Talked to my friend Chad Carlson yesterday. Aaron works for him at Prado shooting park. He told me that Aaron had FIVE BYPASSES !!! Wow thats a lot for a man under 40.

Jeff -- if there is anything else you can add please do so. Is he recovering OK ?? Are their any problems ?? If you would rather not post any thing here just PM me when you have time.

    Hey Tom.

He is recovering on schedule. He is just tired and in pain, of course. They have him walking and sitting up regularly and he is talking just fine, cracking the occasional one liner.

More to follow. Thank you all...

Hey guys, I'm back....a little beat up and weak but alive. Thank you all for the prayers. So far everything is good with no issues. I have a few more weeks to heal so shooting for now is on hold (bad timing for me, good for some). I will be @ the State Shoot either way. With a bad family history of heart issues I went in after having some pain and numbness, turned out to be a good call. The Doctors were able to fix me up before the big one! I shoot some of my best scores after a lay off....so look out, I'll be back before you know it!

    Thanks again
    Aaron Holguin

Best of luck with your recovery Aaron. I'm glad everything went well. Thats a operation for older guys, I was very supprised that you needed that bypass operation. But as you stated, heart problems run in your family, glad you didn't ignor the signs you were feeling. Watch that diet.

Martin and I are sending our best wishes for a great shooting season, after your full recovery of course. And keep crackin' the jokes...we all need those.
