I was cleaning out my cousin's garage yesterday, and among the old car parts, I found a old Edelbrock 6 cyl. intake manifold with two single bbl. carbs on it.

It even had the two small chrome air cleaners attached.

Aluminum manifold, that relied on a separate exhaust, maybe headers, but looks real neat.

I doubt that the family will sell it.

What is this complete unit worth?

A pic would help..as well as knowing what make engine it fits...probably somewhere around $450-500 if decently clean..carbs will need rebuilding if left sitting for a long time,..theres not much demand for these but some guys really like old inline 6 bangers for keeping 50's style lead sleds original but stouter

Thanks Calvin, but I have no pics.

My cousin was a automotive machinist, and has a garage full of old parts like this.

I also found my old Muncie 4-speed from 40 yrs. ago, and my old Edelbrock "Tarantula" BB intake manifold I had on a 66 Chevelle w/427-385 hp, along with some other things I have re-claimed.

    Good old Days

Probably for a mid 60's Pontiac, from what I can recall.

The carb make would also help put a price on the set up. Like everything it's only worth what your buyer is willing to pay but someone needing it for a period correct resto would probably pay top dollar. Don't forget condition condition condition.

Without seeing, my speculation would be 235-261 CI Chevrolet. Prior to the Chevy V8 in 1955, you could but headers and intakes on the above in line 6's and be competitive with Ford V8s.

Value ='s demand, there is little demand for any in line 6 hot rod items but I would speculate, complete about $300. Were this to be for a flat head Ford V8, about double that.
