If its a nice motorhome worth the expence...let Camping World install the rubber roof membrane...they will remove all equipment and fixtures and re-install with a thorough sealing
Also might talk with someone that installs LineX (truck bed liner). There is also a similar product called Rhino Liner but it will have a weight issue.
I saw an older MH that had this done (LineX) and he said it worked great and was real pleased with the job they did.
Thanks people, we have really, really enjoyed our time in our Dinosauer RV, and I know they don't last forever, I was hoping there might be an economical fairly short term fix. Sure is nice to have a cool place to sit between events. Thank you Jim
DO NOT USE CARNACK it is for a temporary fix only and it will only last six months at the most as well it will be impossable to not get it all over the place. Call a comercial roofing contractor in your area and tell him you are interested in a fully adhered EPDM roofing system, he will probably not want to mess with it but you can ask him if one of his employees might want to make some money on the side. Good Luck Curt
A problem with using a sealer along the seams is that the roof has quite a bit of flex as the motor home is going down the road. This roof movement tends to break sealants.
