Well, we all know to avoid the Sparta motel. Are there any really bad motels near the Cardinal Campgrounds. Will be looking for a clean spot within 20 miles. Wed--Sun morn. Any good info would be appreciated.

try the Best Western at the Chesterville exit only 10 miles North very clean and the people are very friendly. This is just North of the Cardinal Center.phone number is 419 768-2378. Stayed there for the Ohio State Shoot.

Thanx Alan, got reservations @ the Best Western---now any good recommendations for some "real" Italian food, in the area.

To answer the original question , Days Inn ( the next exit north ). The towels on their head are cleaner than the ones in the bathrooms.

Stay away from Knight's Inn North of grounds. Way overpriced and not the cleanest.
Places to eat....there is a restaurant in Delaware called "Bun's". It is on a side street about a block of so north of main district. Excellent food.
