I have had good luck with Red Wings and Double H for pullons. Danners seem to be good on a regular laceup.

Justin Lacers are the most cofortable I have tried and I have to wear steel toe boots every day as part of the job.

These are a bit hard to find with the steel toe and they don't come cheap.

I have had good luck with Georgia Brand steel toe boots. I also had a real comfortable pair of Carhartt steel toe boots. I have never had good luck with the Red Wing boots. While they were really nice boots, they just never felt very good to me. The best boots i have ever owned comfort wise were non-steel toed Kangaroo boots from Cabelas.

Carolina's. The ones made in the US. Or RedWings..The ones made in the US. If you need a metatarsal I would suggests the Carolina.

I had to wear them for years as a job requirement.

Over the course of those several years, I found out that Red Wings were the way to go for me.

They lasted the longest and were the most comfortable to wear.

Red Wing, Justin And Rocky are all good work boots. The biggest problem in finding a comfortable boot is the different styles within the brand.

FWIW. A friend has switched to Red Wing composite toes. He works under OSHA conditions and thinks they are the best. Ron

use your browser and check out safety shoes and boots. There are sites (like above) that sell all the brands and styles. Also composite is overtaking steel and you still get your safety checkmark.
