We, (Americans of diverse faiths), are not the ones who need to be more sensitive to other beliefs. We do not kill people who will not believe the way we do, we convert them or leave them be. We kill people who 'unjustly' kill other people including ourselves. Irrational HATE CRIMES can not hide under the guise of a religion.

Enough is enough already IMHO. We have a God given right to believe the way we do without threat of death from any other faith. This is what tolerance means. It is the killers who are the intolerant and the undiverse.

This is in regard to recent events in Libya.

Republican and Democrat alike, we all kill mosquitos when they bite us, do we not?

"On 9/11, a day devoted to remembering those killed at the hands of
Islamofascist terrorists -- and this year, a day when a mob in Egypt attacks the US embassy and replaces the American flag with the Al Qaeda one -- here is the Obama administration's statement in full:"

""The Embassy of the United States in Cairo condemns the continuing efforts by misguided individuals to hurt the religious feelings of Muslims – as we condemn efforts to offend believers of all religions. Today, the 11th anniversary of the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks on the United States, Americans are honoring our patriots and those who serve our nation as the fitting response to the enemies of democracy. Respect for religious beliefs is a cornerstone of American democracy. We firmly reject the actions by those who abuse the universal right of free speech to hurt the religious beliefs of others.""

Isn't it interesting that both Islam and the political left use offense as a weapon with which to unjustly bludgeon their opponents into submission to their will.

We are not a nation of one belief, someone needs to convey this to our 'leaders'. We are diverse and many of us understand that we are free to embrace parts of any other faith that coincide with our own or not and we have the ability to let those who believe otherwise who embrace the truths and the HONEST scope of their own beliefs. This is our legacy of Freedom to think and choose and believe the way we choose. We have been a peaceable nation of mixed beliefs or no beliefs and can freely and publically discuss our similarities and differences without fear of reprisial. What part of that does this administration NOT understand?
We can not embrace or acknowledge a belief based on untruths and deception unless untruth and deception is their 'truth', then we know how to deal with them.
Belief systems are what we say and do, how you want to be perceived by others, what you stand for and how you expect others to treat you. If you misrepresent your own belief system then accept the treatment you get.
One reaps what one sows. Is that not true?
Why do we apologize as if we are a nation of one belief that has one faith upon pain of death that disses other's beliefs?

Brings to mind for whatever reason, The King and I,

"Toads, Toads, all of your people are toads,
Yes, your majesty, no, your majesty
Tell me how low to go your majesty"....
