You didn't really think countless billions of dollars General Motors stole from the taxpayers and their bondholders was the end of the fleecing did you?

And now, the official response from the Obama team:

"Now, let me be perfectly clear...guys who are playing cards and reading the paper, are guys who are not in the unemployment line, can you dig it?"

"So you have a choice...you can vote for a guy who wants a Jobs Bank for all Americans...or you can vote for a guy who wants to make all of America his private investment bank!"

(this message brought to you by the United Auto Workers, and by Solyndra - Partners in Technology, Strengthening America - One Bad Loan At A Time).

<i>"There's no work, no work at all. Zero work,"</i> another current employee said.

There's a new phrase for ya... Zero Work. Being paid by taxpayers to goof off.

Damned straight I voted for the chocolate clown. It's the only way the rest of you will get off your apathetic asses and riot at the injustice instead of sitting froggily in the pot while you wait for the water to boil your ass.

The sooner it goes to Hell in a handbasket, the sooner we can rebuild a downsized Govt. from the ashes of political correctness and entitlements.

You're right! Making the mulatto go away is just the first step. We need to stand behind organizations like The Tea Party Patriots and other like minded people who know that trying to live a life of financial and economic fantasy has never and will never work. "The business of America is business." You work your ass off and feel lucky if there is any money left after the bills are paid. THERE AIN'T NO FREE LUNCH! If the grubby, long haired stink bombs don't like it, they can suck up a stump.

Keynes, whom Obamas said he admired for economic principles, was an effete homosexual who never had to make any of his theories work in the real world.

He came to prominence as an economist and philosopher around the time of the Great Depresion.

Keynes economic themes were based on his feelings or his philosophy and had very little to do with actual mathematical formulaic proof. He did not think people should save, and thought that supply drove demand, and not the other way around.

The above link is madatory reading, and there will be a test on November 6th.

    That's a GREAT billboard.

HalfMile: I once took a graduate level Economics class taught by a brilliant man who was the head of research at the Federal Reserve Bank. He also taught at in the University Of Chicago MBA program (one of the best in the world). So I figured the class would be a little stuffy. I got a pleasant surprise on Day 1. He introduced the topic of Keynesian economics by saying...

"Many historians believe that Keynes was a promiscuous homosexual. Their analysis is incomplete. He was a prolific child molester too."

    LOL, what a fun class.

Here's the latest info that I've seen from a credible source...

WASHINGTON, Aug 13 (Reuters) - The U.S. Treasury Department has said the auto industry bailout will cost taxpayers $3.4 billion more than previously thought.

Treasury now estimates the 2009 bailout will eventually cost the government $25.1 billion, according to a report sent to Congress on Friday.

That is up from the last quarterly estimate of $21.7 billion.

Since the $80 billion bailout of the auto industry, Detroit's big automakers have moved from crisis to profit. GM and Chrysler were put through government-funded bankruptcies that slashed costs and debt.

Treasury has so far recouped about half of what was extended in grants and loans to GM and Chrysler, related retail financing arms and suppliers. Some of the money was repaid in cash, while the remaining interest was tied up in equity shares held by the government.

As an investor, I will NEVER buy a corporate bond. The people who held these bonds were screwed a the rules were changed by the "allmighty". Obama picking winners and losers (seems to pick more losers) is abuse of power. We, as "taxpayers" should not be holding any stock in any corporation. Also, taxpayers should not be bailing out banks or any other private business. Whether republicans or democrats do bailouts, either way it sucks. BT100dc
