Living in Ohio now but the wife is from Anaconda MT and I lived in Gt Falls for 6 years - miss some of this scenery but it ain't all "heaven" there. The plains in the winter.... brutal. Head east from Gt Falls (with the constant wind) and you're going to find hundreds of miles of beauty that only lies in the eye of the beholder.

I used to live in the Bitterroot Valley south of Missoula.
I still think that's the most beautiful places in the USA.
Unfortunately, it's also one of the most difficult places to make a living!

I first saw Montana in 1947. I thought it was a mighty nice place. It's a little more crowded now, but still pretty. It doesn't look like I am going to get to live there though.

ric3677, I used to haul cattle from Billings to the Plains of Texas & New Mexico for a Mr. Jim Sweet out of Billings. I have been in EVERY State in the CUS and Montana & Vermont are the 2 most BEAUTIFUL.I also like the people of Montana because of their Attitude & Honesty. Thanks for posting the Video.
