    Money shoot at Jaqua

The weather should be great for the first annual Jaqua's money shoot this weekend, October 2 - 3, 2010. I have tried to cut and paste the program below but if it doesn't come out readable please check jaquas.com for the program. This shoot offers something for all types of money shooters whether it is 50 birds, protections or straight handicap shooting that you like. This shoot should yeild some good payouts. Everyone come out and have a good time at an old fashioned money shoot.

If this is a non ATA money shoot , why are they penalizing the non ATA shooter by making them shoot on the 25 Yd. with the 27 Yd. ATA shooters? Don't seem fair to the Non ATA shooters. ARE the top shooters afraid that a Non ATA shooter is going to come in and win all the money?

Hey Duckdog good to hear from y'all. Glad you can finally come out and play a little. You may want to get that shootin' iron out this week and knock the spider webs out of the barrel...look forward to seeing you (and your better half)this weekend. Roger

Not a bad post for a baloney slicer. Hope things are well.

Yeah happy they are just terrified of you. If you can't handle the 25 then park it and watch.

Big Don: Sorry I missed you at Williams County last week. I have talked to a bunch of people who are coming to shoot this money shoot. It should be entertaining to watch and participate. Roger

I wonder how many non ATA shooters will show up to be penalize on the 25 Yd line while the ATA shooters get moved up 2 yds. Why not put them on the 23 yd line and give them a fair chance at winning? Seems like they would draw a bigger crowd and have a bigger jackpot.

happytrapper, I'm trying to determine where you are coming from. Many of the non ATA shooters I know can shoot lights out at any yardage. The ATA shooter has established his proficincy by his yardage assignment. The object of the handicap yardage system is to "equalize" participants according to each shooter's ability. All can see the ATA shooter's skill level by his assigned yardage. How can we judge your (non ATA shooter) skill level? Sounds to me like you want to have the money handed to you by weaseling your way to shooting a shorter yardage. Break 'em all! Tom Ruble

Well THANK YOU GG.... I'll pay ya' that $50.00-spot I owe ya' later this week!!!

Man, I know it, Rob is just crushin' targets with that new combo-gun. He and I will be partners for the protection shoot on Saturday.

I have been told, there will be a very high level of shooters planning to attend Cam's this weekend. Might turn some heads, seeing lincense plates in the lot from TX.,OK.,KY.,PA.,TN.,FL.,MI.,IN.????? Hope its true.

To be honest, I'm glad you have to work Glenn,,,,NOW, if we can just get those "other" two shooters,,,,, Rosey, and the ever soo popular Dinky-Dow to go play horseshoes, the rest of us might have a prayer. You guys could go play three-handed euchre ya' know??????

You guys are too kind with your comments about the new gun.

If the shooter does his part, the gun makes smokeballs!

Hopefully I can come out of my slump at Jaqua's this weekend!

I hope there is a big turnout (Sandbaggers and all)!

    Rob

Mishot, looks like the ATA shooters are weaseling there way to shooting a shorter yardage so they have a better chance at winning. You don't have to worry about them handing the money to me Because I won't be there. I'm just an average shooters so why would I come and have to shoot from the 25 yard line with ATA 27 yard shooters. After all this is an open shoot so make it fair for everyone.

happytrappy, you should have joined the ATA a couple weeks ago so you could have your card and a 20 yard placement. Jaquas may get an award for motivating many non ATA members to join to participate in this event. The small ATA dues would have been a great investment. It will be interesting to see how it works out, but I am sure it will draw a crowd.
