    The Medal of Honor is not a contest prize.

    SSG Giunta didn't "win" it.

    The MOH was awarded to him for his selfless conduct in battle.

    You are correct, one does not win the MOH they are awarded it. It is early in the A.M. when you are fighting a cold and have a NyQuil Hangover, I have changed my post to reflect that.. Thanks,
