1. We have added the ability for anyone to 'bump' threads that they have created. This is mainly useful in the classifieds area where posters constantly bump for sale threads to bring it to the top. This allows them the ability to do that without having to clutter the thread with extra 'TTT' and 'Bump' type posts. To bump it, go inside your thread and click on 'Thread Tools' at the top, then select 'bump'. You can bump only once per 24 hour period.

For more detailed information please see this post: Thread Bump Functionality.

you sure it is pre 64. If so it could be worth a little more but not a huge amount more. does it have the basket weave checkering? A friend of mine just bought one for $550 it was a pre 64.

There were a couple of rare calibers but 308 isnt one of them- and no collectors value for pre 64 model 88s in general

    300-600 depending on condition

    regards from Iowa

I had a pre '64 M88 in .308 and it was a very good shooter. Make sure the rifle has it's magazine. I wanted to buy a spare and it was hard to find and expensive!

it now, great shooting rifle. As said before make sure it has a clip, very hard and expensive to locate.

I still hunt with a pe-64 Model 88 in .308. This fall I took an elk with it in Idaho. They are nice guns, but not hot colector's items.
