1. We have added the ability for anyone to 'bump' threads that they have created. This is mainly useful in the classifieds area where posters constantly bump for sale threads to bring it to the top. This allows them the ability to do that without having to clutter the thread with extra 'TTT' and 'Bump' type posts. To bump it, go inside your thread and click on 'Thread Tools' at the top, then select 'bump'. You can bump only once per 24 hour period.

For more detailed information please see this post: Thread Bump Functionality.

I have a Remington 40X rimfire for sale with the full length channel in the sock and the long barrel-- great trigger pull- $977 plus shipping

    and

I have an original 40X rimfire or short action (like 308) stock-- good inletting- a couple of dings only on the exterior- I understand this is the same stock used on the short action center fires

If you need one they go for a lot of money

This one is $117.77 plus something for shipping

I have it and might sell it

This stock was for a spare in case a kid wanted to shoot it or something-- I did that with Winchesters- cut the stocks down- it worked out great

Not to intrude on Gene's sale add but if you can find a 40X snatch it up, arguably the best 22 target rifle ever made. I just lucked into a 40XB at a local gun show a couple weeks ago and am amazed at how accurate it is.

Gene, good price on the stock.

In 1956 I won the William Randolph Hearst and the Jr. National Championships with my new 40X. It's serial number was 00037. It had the BEST trigger of any gun I have ever shot. I am still trying to find one - but I repeat myself.

Hi Gene, what is the condition of the bore and throat just ahead of the chamber? Any idea of how much it has been shot? What is the trigger pull weight? Is the trigger stock and is it adjustable? Thanks, Bob

I have received many offers so have to carefully consider them and so I am not going to take any " I will take it" for the cash asking price as no one committed in those words so far

    Now for information asked

    1. The absolute best trigger pull of any rifle I have owned or shot- the absolute best- I probably shouldnt sell it. I dont have a reliable trigger gauge- my guess is 1 to 2 pounds - there is a screw in the middle of the trigger blade- I have never messed with it

    2. The bore looks great and the original bluing looks good

    Regards from Iowa

What would make you say that?
