    How do you go about fitting a new bolt and trigger assembly to a model 12 pre 64

    Von, I think you're looking for a gunsmith with the particular knowledge required for that. JMO. Too easy to screw it up I'd think. Good Luck.

    Phillip's is the way to go. He has worked on several of my Model 12s and am very pleased with the quality, turn around and pricing.

    Above all, he is a great guy to deal with.

    Based on personal experience I would stay away from Nu-line.

    I've heard good and bad about Nu-Line but they did an excellent job on a friends model 12 and the repair work they did for me was great.

    They are very good and will strive to do it right! They rewelded and milled a Mod.12 receiver I shot out, they did a NICE JOB,I was very pleased .

    I hope the new bolt will solve the problem a local gun smith things that it should do it, if not I will have to sent it them and get the face done, thank you guys for
    the help and advice.
