There seems to be a lot of Model 12 interest on TS.Com.
Has anyone ever held a Model 12 vintage shoot?

I have the Model 12 disease and could be persuaded to attend one for a couple days.

    This would so rock!
I have often thought of having a "field gun only shoot" to get local hunters/kids/league shooters out in the winter.
I think a gun club near Aledo ,Ill. has one sometimes. [Derby]

    Same here in S.E. Iowa.
The trap I help run has LOTS of younger 20's/30's league shooters shooting
field guns. And some of them are VERY good.

Pretty humbling to be put out of a Annie Oakley by someone with a modified choked 870 or Mossberg 500. LOL

    Good one Barfin......

I am also quite satisfied with my 1950's three pin rib target cruncher.

But I am glad that I don't have to drive a 1950's pick up to the trap shoot!

Barfin: You are right ! However most of us who shoot them are probably vintage. Perhaps a better choice would have been Model 12 only shoot along with swap meet etc.

Would Model 31's be allowed with a special exemption? Then call it a "model 43 shoot?"

I'd love to see a Model 12 shoot, btw. Don't own one, but do own a Model 31 matching numbers TC.

Indian Lake in Ohio has a dedicated Model 12 shoot once a year. I pulled up an post from last year. Check out the rack of Model 12's in the pic.
