I have a friend that has inherited a model 12.
It has both a WS-1 barrel and a skeet barrel matched to the gun.
    About a 90% finish.
    SN 740XXX

Any guesses to what it is worth?

    Thanks

the gun was made in 1937 - the value is kicked a bit for pre-WWII manufacture, and a properly fitted extra bbl will also kick up the value somewhat. But if a standard old 12 ga, less than a grand (even if in 100% condition).

It is marked "Skeet" if that makes a difference.

"Skeet" does matter - it is no longer a plain jane model 12 (always remember they made 2 million of them). In perfect condition, probably a couple of thousand - at 90% about a grand. Gun condition is a huge factor and the other is local market conditions. some folks are just crazy for those guns. But in these economic times, I really don't know. At the NJ State shoot, there was a nice Seitz with two fixed rib bbls for sale - I think it was 7,500 bucks.
