    I would say with the market the way it is around $800-$1000.00.

    field grade Y series guns are not that common. i bought one in the box a couple years ago for 1100 bucks.the one i bought was just like new but it had been shot. i traded the gun about a year & half ago & i am not 100% positive but mine may have been modified choke,

    P3AT I would say is in te ball part. In the factory box with tags and NIB $1500 + would be right. I would also push the + part. If he wants less then that buy it. You will not get hurt. Also DON'T YOU DARE PUT THAT GUN TOGETHER OR FIRE IT. ITS WORTH MORE AS IS. ONCE YOU DO YOU THE GUN WILL DEGRADE IN PRICE.

    Make sure the yellow tag on the end of the box serial # matches gun. Either side of $1500.00. Although a very experienced gun dealer friend of mine just sold a NIB field grade for $750.00.
