    Not to be a PITA but my M12 triggers are pretty nice as is.

    I'd be careful who I choose to lighten my model 12 trigger. Not a job for a shadetree smith. I'd send it to Wrights in Ill. It may need more than just the sear engagement "filed" honed. Worn pins play havoc too.

    Need some help , Slide is not smooth ,I have to push forward before it will eject the empty case , it's a 1954 3" gun .Thanks for your help.

    Hap Mec Tweaks : Thanks for your help on the slide probalem !
    I have 17 model 12's in all , but the one I would like to shoot at money shoots
    has a 6 to 7 lb pull. It paterns the best at long range ,with sup/hap's
    Carl Smith has done trigger work for me in the past , but he's gone now .
    Hoping to find someone in the west .Thanks for your advice !!!

    I too have one of Carl Smiths dual spring triggers in my model 12!! I'm having a few extra side springs made too. Hopefully I'll get them before too long!

    I really don't know of a gunsmith in the west I'd have work on mine though. I'm sure there are a few, I just don't happen to know them though. 6-7 pounds is way too much for me to handle too, I see why you need some help there. I'll keep an ear open and let you know if I find one here though!

    Bobby, you may find one by placing a want ad in that section here? Lots of guys into buying and selling spend a lot of time on those threads only. Hap
