model 12 standard trap 16 gauge (my new toy)

    i picked up this 16 gauge standard trap for the collection. its the only one ive ever seen in person. anyone else have one?

    no idea on the engraver. i sent some pics over to pauline and she didnt have any idea on it. it is obviously not factory but very detailed and nice!

    its not a factory pattern. The left side is correct, but the right should be ducks.

    I have only seen 16 & 20ga. traps in books.
    I can do without the engraving but you have a very rare and nice M-12.

    I have seen 20 gauge trap stamped in the trigger gaurd. I shoot 16 ga. on trap often. Keeps right up with the 12's even back at the fence. I have seen one 30 in. barrel in 16 but don't know if it was a buit custom or factory. The front end is light on the 16 with 28' barrel. Makes it a little whipy. Bill
