1. We have added the ability for anyone to 'bump' threads that they have created. This is mainly useful in the classifieds area where posters constantly bump for sale threads to bring it to the top. This allows them the ability to do that without having to clutter the thread with extra 'TTT' and 'Bump' type posts. To bump it, go inside your thread and click on 'Thread Tools' at the top, then select 'bump'. You can bump only once per 24 hour period.

For more detailed information please see this post: Thread Bump Functionality.

That is about the best looking chunk of walnut I've ever seen.

If I remember right. 196 puts it as a early 1960's date.

1911, the gun was closed just before we started taking pictures. There was no shell in the chamber for sure. Thanks.

I would like to see a picture of the Duckbill, part of the rib from the Duckbill, a better close-up of the pistol grip, and the forend checkering. Has the choke ever been altered? Do you have a 3 day, no shoot, no tear down inspection? You can send the extra pictures to my email address noted in the email section of this message.

It looks like one of the Jaqua Pigeons. Beautiful gun at a fair price.

Gun is sold pending funds. I had 3 people send me emailsthay would take it. I took the first email. If the deal falls thru, I will email the second person. Thanks for all of the interest.

That is a great idea. Winchester patterns would be more friendly and artistic if they were designed around the ejection port.

It sure looks like a Super Pigeon, but the serial number is a bit low. I may be all wrong, would have to go back to the catalogs for the Super Pigeon manufacture dates.

Surprised that nobody noticed that it is "A" wood rather than "B" wood as stated in the dsecription.

    Hitapair,
Read my second post. Wood was corrected. Thanks.

I was told suoerpigeons were y model guns and pigeons were pre 64. I am not a model 12 expert in any form. I just listed the gun for a fellow shooter. The buyer already has the gun and is happy. Thanks.

It is a Super Pigeon. I had several in 1968. They were produced for a short time post 64.Traded one to a Steve Juracek from Newburgh NY for a standard trap that is the consecutive # to my Pigeon. Bob G
