Don't know who Andy is, but Stu Wright is the go to guy for model 12 work.

Try asking on this forum: http://www.shotgunworld.com/bbs/viewforum.php?f=60. Mention Andy and prepare to duck! Pauline Muerrle may be able to help.

I wasn't aware that Andy was in possession of any specific "equipment" for Model 12 work.

Stu is THE man..That is HIS specialty..as well as the Super X-1.. If I had a model 12 needing work.. it would first see Stu.. Next in line are Doug and Phillip..

Andys shop was auctioned off the prime piece of Winchester equipment was the milling machine that milled the ribs on Model 12 and Model 21 Winchesters. Simmons now has the machine but the new owner is a difficult person to do business with IMHO not a guy that would like to help gun people just a money guy. That was my feeling I hope things have gotten better as I used them in the 60's on for Model 12 work they were great today I use Stu also.
