we had a great time at the club last night- fellow game shooter jerry ketchum from shenandoah,ia. brought out his fathers mdl 12 field gun, he had not shot it for 40years! -- (serial no. in the 1.3mil digits)-- jerry broke a 24 at the 16yd line and then proceeded to whoop all of us in a money game at the back fence!! we all got to shoot it and it SMOKES rocks--what a great feeling, remembering those good old days of trapshooting !! --- the corning iowa trap club has an oldtimers vintage trapshoot this sunday and jerry plans on winning---i hope he does!!! wally riebesell rock port, mo.

well- we had a great time today at the corning ia trap club! good old fashion meat shoot and then vintage gun 25 round competition-- my friend jerry shot a 23 and i broke out my grandfathers '97 16ga and turned in a 19 (boy, on a straightaway you gotta cover them up!!! what a flat shooting gun - now i see why i shot pheasants in the butt with it when i was growing up!!) --jerrys shooting partner, dave freeze joined in on the fun w/ his mdl 12 trap breaking a 21 score-- dave fuller who runs the club shot a perfect score with a mdl 12 he uses regularly shooting sportings !!

pictured is --- dave freeze ---me "wally riebesell" --- jerry ketchum
