Model 12 Gunsmithing Question

    If I remmeber correctly it is to be staked in place. Look to see if there is a dimple from a previous staking.

    I don't think LocTite will cause you any problems either. If you can't remove it, add a bit of heat until it loosens. Sometines a heated screwdriver applied to the screew head will do the trick.-Jerald

    Staking is a better choice than loc-tite, if the loc-tite wicks into any other part, it will make things worse.

    You can heat the screw with a soldering iron if the hot screw driver does not work.
