1. We have added the ability for anyone to 'bump' threads that they have created. This is mainly useful in the classifieds area where posters constantly bump for sale threads to bring it to the top. This allows them the ability to do that without having to clutter the thread with extra 'TTT' and 'Bump' type posts. To bump it, go inside your thread and click on 'Thread Tools' at the top, then select 'bump'. You can bump only once per 24 hour period.

For more detailed information please see this post: Thread Bump Functionality.

this gun is really nice. Belongs to a friend at the club with no computer. It has just been gone over completely. reblued, wood refinished, cleaned and adjusted. Length of pull 14 inches to the center of the pachmayer pad. 2 1/2 in drop at the Monte Carlo and 1 3/8 at the back of the comb. serial number 1441247. Not a nickel steel gun. Probably about 1950's.

It looks perfect and feels great. Shot about 2 times after the re blue. Action smooth and locks up tight. Cut on inside top of receiver is smooth and no rolled over edge. NO RIB plain barrel but this would be a really nice gun 28 inch full choke. .728 bore and .695 choke. NOT A SCRATCH OR A MARK ON THIS GUN ANYPLACE. WOOD COMPLETELY FINISHED. 3 DAY APPROVAL IF YOU WANT. make a good offer and he'll include the shipping Motor doc

PRICE REDUCED TO 550 INCLUDING THE SHIPPING

$700 for a refinished model 12 without a rib and with a replacement buttstock?

Have you priced these? Every gun shop has several of these and prices usually start at about $150 not refinished with original wood

    Regards from Iowa

He is smoking crack again. A model 12 is worth more than $150 for parts if it is rough

    WOW....Iowa must be the place.

Here in Ohio, a junk Hardware store grade gun goes for more than 150.

A junk field grade 12 will fetch 250 or more at auction.

Pawnbrokers are really proud of theirs, 350 up.

However, if the gun was professionally done I doubt it will bring enough to cover the cost of restoration.

    Regards.....Gerald

$700 might be high but then again name a currently manufactured pump gun that has this level of quality that sells for less.

I found 2 at a local shop today one for $350 made in the 20's and one for $425 made around 1900. They were useable but not much blueing left. It would cost about $400 to completely restore them. I'd say $700 is too much, but the new Ithaca's are $800 and up.

so you foumd one for 350 and figure 400 to refinish it. That makes about 750 in my math tables then figure the shipping so that makes 800 so 700 for this one is a bargain and he is open to a fair offer. motordoc

    m. dr. don't let them say that shit!!!! they don't know what they are talking about...that i know for sure. 1900 m12 12 ga. for $425???? that is impossible the 12 ga. model 12 was never made till 1914. any m12 that is pre 64 and has a rib and will go bang is worth $600 and one that just looks nice and is a build-up is worth 700.

sound to me like they are just pissed cause the have got their asses kick by a m12 more than once.

one more thing if a model 12 cost $10,000 all you yuppies would have one!!!!!!! you show me another gun that has been around since 1914 and still beats the high dollar gun of today??

    good luck motor dr.
