Mod 12,slam fire disconnect?

    I do believe that the older mod 12's would fire every time you slammed the action into battery if you held the trigger back. The WWI trench guns were known for their ability to do that.

    I have Mod 12 that all do that. They are made from 1912 and up. I'm not to sure of the dates but they all will fire if you hold the trigger and keep working the action.

    I had a 1973 "y" model 12 (bought new that year) that did that and my present model 12 year 1936 does it also. I've heard that later model 12's did not do it but personally have shot one that didn't. Just hold the trigger and pump away.
