This Sunday, July 31st 2011 at 9 am we will be holding a Minnesota Youth Chain Shoot event at Monticello Sportsmens Club, located at 7959 State Hwy 25 NE, Monticello, MN. Ph 763-271-8727.

This is our famous iTunes Shoot, where all the prizes are iPod gift cards! Every shooter who participates will be entered into a drawing for an iPod Shuffle drawn at the end of the shoot. The cost is $18.00 per hundred targets plus $5.00 for ATA and MTA fees. Bring you own shells 7.5 or 8's or you can purchase ammunition at the club. A free lunch will be provided for all youth shooters by the club. Funds for the lunch and trophies are provided for by the Minnesota Trap Shooting Association Youth Fund.

We are looking forward to seeing all of you there. Bring the friends and neighbors! This shoot is designed to allow youth shooters the opportunity to learn about a registered shoot and sign up's, registering, squading and having fun while not competing with adults. Youth will compete against others their own age and ability. This shoot uses the very lenient AIM classification guidelines of Pre-Sub, Sub-Junior, and Junior categories with Class A,B,C and D in each, and we provide trophies for 1st and 2nd place in each, meaning there are 24 trophies to be won! As we believe every youth shooter is already a winner, those who do not earn a trophy are gifted a participation item thanks to one of our many great sponsors.

For more information please contact Sally Stevens (763-486-0853) or Mark Stevens (612-703-6155). Hope to see you all there!

Mark and Sally Stevens ATA/NRA Certified Shotgun Coaches, Level II

Here's a picture from the Waverly Gun Club Youth Shoot--so fun even with the rain. No rain is planned for this Sunday, though!

No worries, Jack. We'll take some of our current short-stocked 1100's and wait to get the others from you when we see you at Monti's Mini-Grand next weekend. Can't wait--Monti puts on such a great shoot, don't they?

Thanks for your great support of the Minnesota Youth Shotgun Association--we appreciate your gun finding skills a lot, and so will the kids who benefit from it.

    Sal
