BAIN Capital AND MITT ROMNEY continues to buy companies, lay-off the employees and ship jobs overseas. The latest victims are in FreePort, IL.

Yes, in fact he did CREATE jobs overseas...

He (Bain Capital) has been spectacular in its ability to help businesses - Staples, Burger King, Burlington Coat, Clear Channel, Domino's Pizza, Dunkin Donuts, Guitar Center, Sealy, Sports authority, The Weather Channel, Warner Music, Brookstone, even Toys-R-Us.

To do so often means cutting waste (this can result in lay-offs) to save the company. Think of it this way - a company with 1000 employees is in trouble. You can 'cut back' and save the company by letting 100 people go as part of a re-structure, or wait six months and go bankrupt - that means all 1000 are out of work.

Looked at this way it is not such a bad thing...

    Out sourcing jobs??

    Look more closely...

Toys-R-Us has had a major turn around under Bain. This means demand for its products has increased. Like it or not, most of their inventory comes from overseas suppliers - are we sending jobs offshore, or meeting the growing demands of a growing business.

The same is true for Spots Authority, Brookstone, etc.

Dunkin Donuts biggest growth market is Asia - There is one on nearly every corner in Indonesia (yes, they have a major sweet tooth issue). This is not sending jobs overseas, but opening new markets, pulling capital back into the US against trade deficits.

I thought Romney left Bain Capital in 1999? He and jughead's attack dogs are arguing over whether it was 1999 or 2001. I'd have a tendency to believe Romney, based on past experience. See above.

Ask the people at the Kennedy Space Center on the East Coast of Florida about how the bamster laid off thousands of American Space workers. Then gave tons of US dollars to support muslim space programs. Is that outsourcing?

The "bamster" did not unilaterally slash NASA's budget. Do your homework. You won't find many fiscal conservatives in the House wanting to continue pouring money into the shuttle program when they can get the same service, for cheaper, by contracting out our space launches to Russia.

And another liberal/socialist/marxist defends Odumbass, the wanna be ruler. If you don't like the US then leave. I'm sure we can get along without you. Romney is 10 times the man Odumbass is and I honestly think you're going to eventually see that.

There are 100 million + gun owners in the US and we're only going to take so much. You might want to re-evaluate your position before we decide we've had enough. I'm just saying! Have a nice day!

sern99, I'm not big on pouring money into anything, especially, when a country doesn't have it. However, is it wise to contract with a former enemy to send up our satellites or be around our technology????????

I was under the impression that there was at least one American company working on rocket lauches for putting new satellites into orbit. Why not stick with a company that we can keep a closer eye on.

Who is the real out sourcer? The number of jobs that have gone overseas as a result of Bain Capital reorganization efforts pales in comparison to those that have gone overseas as a result of confiscatory tax policy, outrageous EPA policy decisions, and a plethora of crushing government regulations put into place by liberal politicians over the last 40 plus years. One of the latest reported victims is the Doe Run smelter in Missouri being closed due to our great EPA. Where do you think these jobs are going? Was Bain involved? Doe run is said to be the last lead smelter in the us. It follows aluminum smelters, steel mills, coke plants, coal fired generating plants and who knows what else.

Get real and put the blame where it belongs. Get off the red herring Bain Capital and other Democrat talking points being bandied about by the leftist news media. We are under government mandate in so many areas of our life it is pathetic. We can't access our energy sources, we are mandated to use ethanol, light bulbs are regulated (outlawed), we are told what to eat and how big a soft drink we may buy. That is only the tip of the iceberg, business regulations cost us millions of dollars and millions of lost jobs. Wake up before it is too late.

    Atta boy Vern, well put.

Gawd all mighty guys, Obamy bailed out GM and they are building a bunch of factories in China as we speak. The GD unions have killed us here in the USA, it is that simple, look at Detroit for gods sake.

Rommney has help'd create more jobs than any candidate I have ever seen. Look at Bains successes. Staples and Domino's are just 2 excellent examples of good buisness management not creating jobs but requiring employment to meet demand.

Odumbass has done JS except be the mouth piece for George Soro's adjenda. For god sakes guys this Obamy has got to be defeated in November.

Voting for anyone other than Romney at this point is an absolute vote for Obamy.

we outsource the delivery of our astronauts to the International Space Station via Russia through their launchsite in Kazakhstan. We do not outsource the delivery of our "spy" or other satellites used for military or national security purposes. Those get launched either at Cape Canaveral or Vandenberg AFB. The NASA Space Shuttle program has been getting it's budget axed every year for a number of years.

Jeffrey Immelt, the Head of GE is very close to Obama. So close that he got to be The head of the exalted One's Jobs council.

    Let's check him out:

"Jeffrey Immelt, the head of Barack Obama's highly touted "Jobs Council", is moving even more GE infrastructure to China. GE makes more medical-imaging machines than anyone else in the world, and now GE has announced that it "is moving the headquarters of its 115-year-old X-ray business to Beijing". Apparently, this is all part of a "plan to invest about $2 billion across China" over the next few years. But moving core pieces of its business overseas is nothing new for GE. Under Immelt, GE has shipped tens of thousands of good jobs out of the United States. Perhaps GE should change its slogan to "Imagination At Work (In China)". If the very people that have been entrusted with solving the unemployment crisis are shipping jobs out of the country, what hope is there that things are going to turn around any time soon?"(from the economic collapse blog)

At this point GE, employing hundreds of thousands of workers, has over half of them outside the US.

Trap72, what did Romney have to do with Freeport? Your answer is eagerly awaited.

I get really tired of people who repeat garbage and pretend a sense of outrage.

    It already is too late.

None of the regulatory agenices that secretly and openly affect our lives, good and bad will never go away.

They will never be abolished or reigned in.

Every year they contine to grow and expand as they must justify their existance by writing more regulations, then enforcing their laws, closing businesses and controlling the people.

The only way they will go away is with the total collaspe of this country. Who knows, maybe in 4 years or less that will happen.

Rick, if they are not reigned in we are doomed as a free country. I don't accept the notion that it is too late. The economy cannot move forward with the government and debt service taking so much from the private sector. We cannot afford the consequences of a total collapse. Start in November, vote and get everyone you know to the polls. It is time we stand up and be counted.
