Tim Reed from South Dakota shot the lone 100 in the doubles yesterday...several 99's in the doubles. There were 9 100's in the singles so carry overs.....High in the handicap was a 97 I think.....I don't remember who that was....sorry.

Good job Eric!!! I guess it's a good thing I didn't bet with you on who would get the slam first.

I just this minute got back from a week of near perfect weather. Only one day of rain and it was on the 200 singles day. Other than that, it was beautiful all week long. I think that attendance was down a lot but will have to wait to see the numbers.

I personally had a great time, winning two doubles class events and one yardage event. And running my first state shoot 100 straight. Another person from our little Aurora Gun Club won a AA runner up trophy after a week long carry over then a 250 bird shoot off with two cranks of the spring after each two rounds. That would be Joe Williams over M.L. Mcguire. We also had a local shooter win Senior Vet in the last handicap after shooting a 96.

It was a good time as usual and the weather couldn't have been better.

Oh, and I think that some guy named Leo won a bunch of stuff too lol.

I have an Idaho friend named Mel Robey who just moved to Missouri. He called me yesterday and told me that he tied for the high score in the final handicap with a 99. Good job Melvin!
I believe he lost the shootoff for out of state and took the Vet. trophy.

I would like to acknowledge a young shooter by the name of Rachel Hopkins. She is a Missouri sub junior and has been shooting the lights out all week long. She shot a 97 in one doubles event, several lower 90's in handicap and at least one 97 in the last handicap. Don't know her but saw her name on the boards all week long. Also, Brittany Wright has been having a great week, she is also a sub junior and was tied with Leo Harrison with a 97 in an earlier handicap. Great shooting. That coach is earning his money lol. Great shoot, good management, those Mo Boys and Girls really know how to do it right.

Next to Illinois it is my favorite shoot. Thanks for the hospitality.
