Local TV reoports that August Busch IV has resigned from the NRA with great fanfare. He is upset the NRA didn't support the Senate gun bills, and is opposed to high cap magazines and so-called assault rifles.

    He is a controversial character.

His girlfriend died in his bed at his St. Louis mansion a few years ago, of a drug overdose, and her family sued for millions. Case supposedly settled for big $$$$.

He was the CEO and leader when A-B sold out to a Brazilian/Belgian brewer. That decreased his popularity with many Budweiser drinkers.

He is alleged to have been a heavy drug user; but never convicted. One recent book details his unusual behavior at national brewery events.

His father and grandfather were very popular in St. louis. He is/was not.

I suppose the NRA will survive O.K. without Mr. Busch....

One thing I heard reported on the radio from ST louis station. One of the reasons the board of directors voted to sell was that they didn't like the way he was running Bud into the ground. I do believe the NRA will be fine without him.

I love the Clydesdales, but I prefer Coors Light and Keystone Light.

I wonder what his financial contributions totaled each year? For all we know he might have been one of those NRA members that regardless of being a annual or life member, just paid the minimum and then bitched about the "free magazine."

Maybe he was like that liberal Geraldo Rivera who always flashed his NRA card while demanding more gun laws. $35 makes him a NRA believer? I don't think so. It's a business ploy only.

I love the wat Huffington Post claimed he was an NRA board member - later retracted, but tearing up the internet in the incorrect form...

So he is saying that the overwhelming amount of members in the NRA, are not extreme radicals? I guess we will see if that is true in the near future.

I have never seen anything on the internet that was not true. Come on!

Sorry, how about just extremists. LOL

That's funny because of what I see others calling people they do not agree with, on this site.
