This weekend July 5, 6, 7, we will be hosting our 10th annual Minneapolis Gun Club Handicap Championship.

900 Targets over the 3 days.

$2600.00 in cash and prizes. Class winners will be awarded Jim White Trophy Buckles. The winner of the 200 Handicap Championship will receive the custom Tilden Trophy Championship Buckle.

Free roast pig dinner Saturday afternoon compliments of Neil Winston.

On Friday and Sunday we will have traps available to Shoot Your Doubles Anytime. No waiting until the end of the day.....go and shoot them in between events.

On Friday and Sunday, weather :>) permitting, we will be offering Marathon targets after the program events are done. With the poor weather we've been having it should be a good weekend to get those targets in before the State Shoot.

The best set targets in the State.

    More details to follow.

    Hope to see you there.

I can vouch for Jimmy on this shoot. The food will be great, Jimmy's not cooking. The targets will be great, Jimmy's not setting them. And the belt buckle is very nice, Jimmy didn't pick it.

Now since poor Jimmy can't cook, set targets, or pick trophies, you'd think he could at least shoot, but no, he can't do that either. Just saying ya know.

But damn, he does preside over a great operation. Go to the shoot, you'll see.

Well, the way I've been shooting I just might try cooking. We've got some great cuts of pork that will be grilled to perfection along with some nice side dishes.

The weather looks great for putting up some good scores and with the target setting a blind person will be able to hit 'em. Ahh, that would be me.

    Hope to see you there.

Check the above website for daily start times.

    Hope to see you there.

The 10th annual MGC Handicap Championship is in the books. The well attended shoot featured great cash payouts, prizes and some of the best weather we’ve had in years and that resulted in some great scores.
Thank you to everyone who participated and stayed Saturday afternoon to enjoy the roast pork dinner compliments of Neil Winston.
Who was the Handicap Champion??? How about Max Bunning shooting a pair of 97’s for a combined score of 194 beating Jeff Hoppes, who shot really well, by one target. Max is a product of the MN Youth Shooting Program. He’s 12 years old and in 7th grade. Congratulations Max. You’re on the road to a lifelong sport that will give you years of pleasure.
