I have tried to get the other shotmakers to coop on this but have not heard back from them. So I guess we are all independent. If you have lead will trade for finished product. Pickup/deliver only. Sorry no shipping, dont want the Bill situation repeated and honestly there is more demand in our local markets to deal with without boxing and shipping.

I have a 1000# of shot ready to go and would exchange same time you bring lead. Rates are 50/50 with ingots and 60/40 with wheel weights of the yielded lead after clips and made into ingots.(-25%) I will also sell you additional lead over your trade at 25.00 per bag, if you do not have lead to exchange it will be at 30.00 a bag. People with exchange lead will get first dibs as they are the ones that make it possible to keep the lead coming for all of us.

All shot is 7.5 graphited and polished, packaged in liter bottles 25# PER. Nice HMS, Here is a pic of finished product.

himark, looks like some of your shot is smashing into other pellets. I had this problem for a while but did away with most of it by raking the lead away under the fall zone. It seems the hot pellets were crashing into the ones in the coolant that had piled up, causing flat spots. Made a rake and just pulled the finished stuff out towards the front of the catch basin.

Just met up with a fellow to deliver 100# he originally said he didnt have any trades but then found his neighbor had 2 full buckets of ww's. Saved himself some money and keeps everybody going. You never know where you can find lead but you have to ask.

I'll be at the FLATWATER SHOOT at the end of this month, close to Lincoln. Any chance we can swap ingots for shot that weekend?

Alright...I'm a little dense in the head. What does this mean....

"Rates are 50/50 with ingots and 60/40 with wheel weights of the yielded lead after clips and made into ingots.(-25%)".

If I brought you 200lbs of lead ingots, and 200lbs of wheel weights, what would each get me in return?

Doug, Lets see if Im right. 200# of ingots would get you 100#s of shot. 200#s of weights would get you 80#s of shot. Dave

You are correct grunt. He would be better off melting his entire batch into ingots as he would get more back and wouldnt suffer the "disputable" yield shrinkage. Its not easy guys making it into the ingots and that is why you will get more back if you do this part. (I take that back it is easy but is time consuming.) Plus if you tell me how much you are bringing before we meet I will have the lead ready to trade on the spot. I can usually handle up to 1000# trades with some notice.
