Going to Middle Creek tomorrow morning.

How's the goose hunting this year been? Been much shooting?

We take our annual trip and tomorrow is the day.

I know its a lot for just one goose.

Every year I get a laugh knowing the geese know exactly where the blinds are and can run the gauntlet and never get shot at unless there is a group of skybusters, but... its fun to spend the morning in a blind rather a day at work.

We usually get some shooting. Last year we spend over an hour walking in and setting up. At daybreak the frist flight went over about 20 feet over the blind. Needless to say, the four of us shot once and four geese dropped. Great day shooting, but if you really looked at it, it was way too much work for one goose.

But like I said, a day in a blind is way better than a day at work, I don;t care how cold or wet it gets. Hell, I'll just leave and go back to bed as i am still off the day.

    Anyone have a scouting report?
