Word on the street is that Michael Obert won the $100,000 prize at the Grand American today.

Yes he did. 25,22. Two others broke the first 25 but couldn't do better then 21 in the second twenty-five. One of the two was Dale Stockdale. The other I can't recall.

Blade, why is it good that a Junior didn't win? As a junior shooter, I don't understand why it would be bad for someone my age to win the shootoff?

Nate, probably because a big dog and a junior have already won it...

    let's call him "long yardage", a back-fencer...

since Obert was 24 1/2 when he qualified, let's just call him a mid yardage guy!!

    the first one to win!!

Martins were not there this year. Mike beat Leo Harrison in a shoot off the night before to get into the $100k shoot out.

Darn,I was hoping one of those AIM kids would win again.

Then they could push them even farther away from the actual Grand next year.Maybe even get them 2 weekends in front of the pre-lims.
