MI state shoot 6/30 thru 7/5 at their home grounds at Mason MI.

    Nicest shooting facility around.

    All shooters welcome.

Tues and Weds all open trophies, the rest of the week resident and non-resident trophies

Michigan shooters will not start and post a bunch of phony threads to promote this shoot as they have to much class and dignity for that.

    See you There.

How about some pics to highlight the event? It sounds like a good facility. Good luck to all.

Wonder if they let us Buckeye's visit? Roughly how far is this from let's say Toledo? Got 2 weeks off, taking a road trip never hurt, and I am sure my money spends in Michigan ans well as Ohio... If I don't make it up, have a great shoot! Deb

Deb, do you carry U.S dollars???? Toledo's generally recognized as being Michigan anyway. You can even shoot next to the

Parked last night and the grounds are looking the best I have seen them.

BIG PAPA; I believe that is what they are going to do and not starting until 10. Sorry I didn't make it down but a couple of family things and I went to the US OPEN (mistake), got to work in there some times. Besides that they gave my golf cart to someone else. See you this week.

BigDon sure missed your smiling face at the Ohio State Shoot. We are going to try and make it up at least one day. Have to go back to work tomorrow :( then I will see what the rest of the week brings. If I have to work Friday we probably won't make it up at all. But we will see what tomorrow brings. Shoot good and we will see you sometime.

    Bluedotman,

Constructive criticism is useful. Suggestions on how to improve are also beneficial.

    Your comment has little value.

You do not expound on why it is "crappy".

Mason has always been one of my favorite places to shoot! Great facility, hard working staff, B.O.D. and volunteers are friendly, and a wonderful target presentation. What's not to like! If you have not been to one of their team shoots, Great Lakes Grand or State shoot you are missing out.

    Big Don,

We missed you at the Ohio State Shoot. Hope to catch up with you at Williams County.

    BigM-Perazzi,

Most of Ohio would gladly give Toledo (and it's Mayor) to Michigan!!!!

Don, Has Michigan ever considered to change the date of their shoot as it conflicts with our Kentucky State Shoot? It sure looks nice and I'd like to shoot there someday! Biff

Biff, not speaking for the BOD, but, I believe it was already moved in order to not conflict with the Indiana shoot...

Earlier would have been the Ohio shoot,

    Ya' sometimes just can't win...

Don: I'm glad you had a good shoot. I am fearful that the economic conditions in Michigan (the worst in the nation) will affect our shoot to a large degree.

Does anyone know if there will be any activites after the shooting? Miss and out, etc? I know this was talked about but not sure if anything was ever finalized.

    Thanks in advance.

Matt if you are talking about playing games forget it. There shoot offs last way to long to play games and they can't shoot after dark. Township rules.

Yes, there are activities after shoot-offs. Thursday after shootoffs and BOD nominations we are going to have a Miss and Out. Last year's event was a great success and a lot of fun. Friday there will be a Shooter appreciatioon chicken dinner with all the trimmings and Barry Kemper will be inducted in the Michigan Hall of Fame. A flat of STS shells will be raffled off on thursday, friday and saturday. Thanks
