Bought this gun in parts from folks on the forum. When the bbl came in I tested it at 13 yards (actually my buddy Golani did) and it shot strate and held pellets in the circle with no fliers. So I decided to find a stock and bought this set from Gabe Lupo (gll) and when it arrived I saw that it had quite a bit of cast off. And I have tried to shoot the non cast off stocks about a dozen times to no avail. That is when I decided to have Doug Braker resurface the metal, overhaul the locking block, spiff up the adj pad apparatus. This is how it came out.

This is a 18.7 bore, with .033. Plenty of choke for me. the gun weighs 9#, the same as my MX3, has the same cast off as the MX3 and similar balance and nearly identical triggers. This is a new Allem P4 (not roller) and my other trigger is an Allor. But seem to be the same specs. Same LOP, Same 90-100% high, same feel to wood. Should be an easy transition. NFS at this time.

Well.... I have to test the water, ya know

Will shoot it fo rthe next few months. That means about 500 targets is all. Doug did a perfect job of timing the opening of the gun to the point where the top lever stays open. Besides my reconfigured index fingers, both thumbs are arthritic. My hand holds stuff because that pulls the joints apart. But if the gun does not open on time my hands go nuts.

Getting to be a wuss in my old age.

nomoloscofoso, 18.7 bore is 18.7 Millimeters.

25.4 millimeters to the inch, so it would equal a .736 bore.....means it's a factory overbore barrel.

John. This gun has "Sky Buster" written all over it. I'll be at the club with it on Saturday. Wait till you see it. As nice a Perazzi (of this type) that you will hold. What a shooter it will be.

    Nice Gun Jack!!!

It'll be fun to watch you shoot the thing after hearing about it for the past several months. Quit worrying so much about the cold. It's part of living up here in the great white north and it's kinda fun to shoot in as it brings a new challenge!!! Anyway that's what I try to sell myself on.

Is the gun going to be at the MPLS Gun Club this Saturday the 4th?? It would be good to see you and the gun, not only at MPLS but at Del-Tone/Luth some time soon.

    Jeff

Yes it will be at MplsGC tomorrow. It is a little too short for you, but the rest of it is right up your alley. Classy gun, but there will be a queue to fall into.

And you are right, I have become a warm weather fuddy-duddy. Sunday it appears that Da Bearz will be playin at Alary's And that is whaere I will be.
