1. We have added the ability for anyone to 'bump' threads that they have created. This is mainly useful in the classifieds area where posters constantly bump for sale threads to bring it to the top. This allows them the ability to do that without having to clutter the thread with extra 'TTT' and 'Bump' type posts. To bump it, go inside your thread and click on 'Thread Tools' at the top, then select 'bump'. You can bump only once per 24 hour period.

For more detailed information please see this post: Thread Bump Functionality.

31.5" Wilkinson .736 bores, .016 under/.026 upper. A Special gun as it is what a lot of fast shooters want. In great overall shape wiht Special internal selectable trigger. Can convert this to Release if you like. currently near 15" LOP but will send the gun thru Doug Braker to convert it to LOP you prefer. Only flaws are a delrin buttom riser for a center bead (now removed)and one tiny nick no one will see at the point of the checkering $4495 with case. Add FedEx. Very tight gun. Jack, this look like a good gun, but I can't believe you forgot to list barrel length. :)

I have one to sell after yours. Good luck.

Mike and Steve. I cut my teeth on P guns back inthe late 80s. I had about 50 dealoers I called every couple of months andboguht the best f what they had. I shot every MX8 I bought adn that exceeded 50 in about 3 years. I moved every one adnstillwish I had most ofthose. But this gun is rightup my alley as I can easily shoot .026 in the top. the late jack Gracey taught me doubles adn he let me get to them as quick as I wanted. Ihavve personal triggers fo rthis gun and if I still have it in a few weeks, I'l be shooting it at MN state and IA state.

Clean gun. Blue, wood... A dandy

A few rain drops. No freckles on this gun. Dried, oiled, and resting in case.

Nice gun Jack I assume it is a late model type 4 gun. I purchased a old beat up MX8 for a friend that wanted to shoot a o/u for sporting on a budget. This is a type 3 gun but has Allem double release triggers and 31.5 in barrels also choked 20 bottom and 26 top. The case hardening was shot and small pits were visible reblued the gun and installed a new lock when the friend called he got a new Browning sporting gun form his brother. I went out this week to try the gun out and shot it lights out never had a MX8 lots of TM1 and TMX guns well I'm sure glad he does not want this one it is going to be my doubles gun if not my everything gun time will tell I laughingly call it the magic gun it shoots bottom barrel first and is the most forgiving barrel I can remember shooting. Not trying to jump your thread but I sure became a MX8 fan in a hurry now I know why they are still making them so many years later a great gun.

top lever is great. Really. If you noted, it was just starting to rain an I got in a hurry and forget the top lever. But this gun is snug as a bug.
