There is a brand new hi-tech method for treating shotgun barrels. I invented it myself and it definitely has an amazing effect. It costs much less than cryogenic treatment and offers the same benefits.

For a full technical explanation, please see my comments on the FREEZING BARRELS AT EXTREMLY LOW TEMPS post at 11:24pm 13-Feb-10

Methane gas, in itself, has no odor -- it's the organic matter entrained in it that can be unpleasant.

As you all know by now, my new patent-pending Methane Treatment Process is heating up the trapshooting world.

I've decided to launch my new business by offering a "FEBRUARY SPECIAL" exclusively to all my dear friends on TS.com:

For the next two weeks only, I am offering to fart through both barrels of your over/under for the price of an unsingle. Plus, I'll bend over backwards to turn it around in three days. Or, if you want to stop by my lab with your barrels and a Grilled Stuft Burrito, I'll happily perform the procedure while you wait.

So to produce that amount of Methane, you are in essence admitting you are full of crap. LMAO!

Does this methane treatment in any way involve blue flaming? Do you have a special fire policy in your plant?

Hey, that's pretty rude to say I'm full of crap.

I am, but that doesn't mean I shouldn't be allowed to turn a profit from it.

Assuming your new venture turns into a huge success and knowing that there are plenty of others on this site full of crap...

You had better start working on the details of how one starts their own PMT.Inc.

    How much for franchise rights?

    Funny you should ask...

At the suggestion of Texaszephyr, I am currently seeking a franchisee to take over my optional Blue-Flame Division. Obviously the ideal candidate will be a former frat boy who can supply his own Burritos & Bic Lighter.

    Franchise fee: Negotiable.

    Bill:

Good point. PMT is not responsible for liquid residue.

    Molly:

The process if brief, so it does not affect bluing. I can not share pictures of the full proprietary barrel treatment process, but click on the link for a video which illustrates the basic Blue Flame method. Caution -- the science involved here is not pretty.

Whether we use pork & beans, chili, or Grilled Stuft Burritos -- it WORKS, and improves scores. The poof is in the pudding.

Ok this is 1 process I do not want to see or have the details explained. Mrs says I could prolly do it as well and the bedroom needs absolutely no more treatments.

It's very complicated. All the top shooters are quietly having me do their barrels. That's all you need to know. Trust me. ;)
