David, can we get rid of the "Message Deleted" stuff? It's darn distracting, and definitely not an improvement.

I for one say leave it as is. I have deleted a message from time to time because my temper got the better part of me on some threads. I also left a reason for doing so.

I agree because I would like to see how many message's that has been deleted by certian people ok I did notice even if you hit the submit button 2 times and then delete a copy of your post then it will still register in the total but it will say message deleted instead.

Im sure that is because since there is a counter now to the right of the thread then it still counts every post that has been made.

I think like the horse trader if I delete a message later because I was ticked off at the time when I made it I will explain why I deleted it but this way the ones that likes to post and get things started then yank their post like they never been on there then they have a trail saying that they deleted a post or 2.

    I say leave it also.

I like this "message deleted" stuff, but I really like the "Delete all your messages" button. That's a real gas.

That was quite profound of you, Earl "message deleted" Hamman. Are you saying that all your posts are "chaff"? Isn't there ever a single grain of wheat in any of them? When are you going to delete the above post- it's been there more than 5 minutes. LOL

I don't like the "MESSAGE DELETED" stuff cause when you go back to a thread you can't keep up with what was said!

I do like the "message deleted". With it, the second or third contributor doesn't get stuck with the original author's title,,after the original author deleted their post.

Yeah that is the main reason I like the message deleted part because we have so many on here that will start a thread and then decide to delete their post then it makes the 2nd guy that responded look like he was the one that statrted it so just maybe if it shows the originator's name in the message deleted post then they might try to think ahead before even making a thread.

David I like the new added stuff so far.

I like the "Message Deleted" message also. I just think that it should also state whether it was deleted by the author or by a Moderator. That way, we would know if the message was considered offensive by a Moderator or whether the author simply decided to delete his own message.
