The final results for all competitors can be found here:

    http://results.beijing2008.cn/WRM/ENG/CIS/SH/SHM401902.shtml#SHM401902

The qualification round is done now.

    Alexey Alipov RUS 121 (23 24 25 25 24)

    David Kostelecky CZE 121 (24 24 25 24 24)

    Erminio Frasca ITA 120 (23 24 25 24 24)

    Giovanni Pellielo ITA 120 (25 25 23 24 23)

    Michael Diamond AUS 119 (25 23 24 24 23 +3 in the shoot off)

    Josip Glasnovic CRO 119 (25 23 24 25 22 +3 in the shoot off)

Karsten Bindrich from Germany also shot a 119 (24 23 24 25 23 +2 in the shoot off), dropping his last 2 out his final round for a 23. In the shoot off to get into the final, Glasnovic shot first, Diamond second and Bindrich drew the high pressure position.

The final will start at 3:00 pm Beijing time (2:00 am CST). It will air on MSNBC sometime between 11:00 am and 4:00 pm on Sunday.

If anyone is awake at 2:00 am CST, and half ways interested in looking, there is a website updated live after the rounds are over. All the athletes will be introduced, test firing next, and then the round will start. The website should have the final results around 2:45 am CST.

The link on the other thread is going to be for the final only. Starting around 2:45 am CST, that link should be updated with the results of the final and the medal winners.

The shoot off to get into the final is sudden death. All shooters start on station one. The referee calls for a target, all shooters have the opportunity to see it (or turn their back if they choose to). All shooters shoot the exact same target on the exact same station. Shooter 1 shoots, machine is reset...Shooter 2 shoots, machine is reset again....Shooter 3 shoots. If all hit their targets, they move to station two and the process starts over. It is single shot only. I do know that the first target was a low left off of 1...All hit it...All hit the second target, and Bindrich missed the third target.

Here is a link to all of the shooting images from Beijing. There is even an aerial shot of the shotgun range. Sorry its extremely long...I don't remember how to create a hyperlink. You'll have to copy and paste it into your browser since it doesn't fit in the designated window above.

That link doesn't have the men's trap video yet. Hope it does later.

    I'm SO PISSED!

I got up at 4:00 a.m. Central time because my cable TV online programming guide said the finals would be on MSNBC, but NOOOOOO, they're showing some dumb-ass re-run of Dateline NBC about some telelevangelist.

    Frank,

In this case, even TiVO wouldn't have helped. They didn't show it at all!
