Our club has been flooded from the rains over the past weekend and all shooting has been cancelled untill further notice. When I left the club on saturday at noon the water was high but not a threat. By 7:00 pm the water was in the main clubhouse and all the fields were under water. It will be some time before we can shoot again. We had just loaded 8 trap houses for a SCTP shoot and it has now been cancelled. We had 251 young shooters scheduled to shoot at this shoot. The Mid South Open which was scheduled for May 15 & 16 is now cancelled as well as our June shoot. We will try to have the Open later in the year when we get back up and running. Yesterday when I went to the club there was still 3 feet of water in the main clubhouse and the water had gone down at our trap clubhouse. We surveyed the damage yesterday in a 14 foot boat. The tour was heartbreaking. We will be back in business as soon as the cleanup is over but right now we don't know when that will be. Bill Hardison Memphis Sport Shooting
